LONG ISLAND, NY - Ten Long Island schools were recently named Distinguished Schools for 2017-2018 by Project Lead the Way.
The honor was given to districts and schools committed to increasing student access, engagement, and achievement in their Project Lead the Way programs.
“It is a great honor to recognize these schools and districts for their commitment to students,” Vince Bertram, president and CEO of Project Lead the Way said. “These are the leaders in what education should look like, and they should be very proud of ensuring students have the knowledge and skills to be career ready and successful on any career path they choose.”
