13 Best Nursing Homes on Long Island: U.S. News
As options for senior care grow, a U.S. News & World Report offers a list of the top providers in the region.

Thirteen nursing homes on Long Island are among some of the best in the country, according to a new list out Wednesday morning from U.S. News & World Report.
U.S. News evaluated more than 15,000 nursing homes to come up with the slightly more than 2,000 included in the list of Best Nursing Homes. Millions of Americans will spend at least some time in a nursing home this year, noted Brian Kelly, editor and chief content officer of U.S. News.
“Finding a nursing home that meets an individual’s specific needs can be challenging for families,” Kelly said in a release. “Our nursing home ratings are designed to help potential residents and their loved ones navigate this difficult process.”
