Oheka Castle - Huntington

This is a hot spot not just for Long Islander's Instagram feeds but for weddings as well. The historic mansion has been a popular destination for high-class events since 1919, when Oheka's first bride, Maude Kahn, hosted her wedding in the Grand Ballroom, according to the Oheka Castle website.

Montauk Lighthouse - Montauk

Montauk has always been a popular vacation destination, but now it's a popular place for all Long Islanders to grab a pic with the iconic lighthouse for their Instagram feeds. The historic landmark was built in 1796 and stands 111 feet tall (perfect for grabbing different angles).

Lavender by the Bay - East Marion

This farm with gorgeous and seemingly endless field of lavender was just meant for Instagram.

Big Duck - Flanders

The Big Duck is quintessential Long Island. This duck-shaped building was building 1931 by duck farmer Martin Maurer and was previously used as a shop to sell ducks and duck egg. Now it just serves as the perfect backdrop for your Instagram pics.

Nautical Mile - Freeport

The Nautical Mile is a 1-mile stretch of businesses along the water on the South Shore. It has plenty of picturesque bars and restaurants to choose from which means it also has plenty of opportunities to grab a cool pic for your Instagram.

Kings Park Psychiatric Hospital - Kings Park

This creepy abandoned psychiatric hospital attracts those who love an adventure...or maybe they just want a cool picture for social media. Either way this is the perfect spot for both.

Marvel ice cream shop - Long Beach

Come for the ice cream but stay for the iconic Instagram pic. This quaint ice cream stand is the perfect spot to get a good shot of your towering ice cream cone with the famous little shop in the background.

Adventureland - Farmingdale

Relive your childhood and grab some cool carnival pics for your Instagram at the same time at this small but entertaining amusement park right off Route 110.

Long Island Aquarium - Riverhead

Jones Beach - Wantagh
