2 7-Elevens Robbed In Under 20 Minutes: Suffolk Police

No arrests have been made yet: Suffolk Police.

TOWN OF SMITHTOWN, NY — Two 7-Elevens were robbed in a span of under 20 minutes on Sunday morning, the Suffolk County Police Department said.

At 2:05 a.m., an unknown person entered the 7-Eleven located at 602 Smithtown Bypass in Smithtown, where they brandished what appeared to be a gun, police said. They then stole cash from the register and left on foot, police said.

The second location, at 362 Veterans Memorial Highway in Commack, was robbed 18 minutes later, per Suffolk Police. An unknown person entered the store and displayed what appeared to be a gun before demanding cash from the register, police said.

Suffolk Police weren't able to confirm whether the two robberies are connected. Police have yet to make an arrest.
