2 Hospitalized After Man Crashes Into Smithtown Bus Stop
The 62-year-old also hit a street sign, several small trees and a lamp post before crashing into the bus stop on Tuesday afternoon.

SMITHTOWN, NY - Two people were hospitalized after the driver crashed into bus stop in Smithtown on Tuesday afternoon, according to Suffolk Police.
A 62-year-old man driving a 2019 Chevy Impala eastbound on Route 347, just east of Mount Pleasant Road when he struck a street sign, several small trees, a lamp post and then a bus stop at 4:28 p.m.
The man and his adult male passenger were transported to St. Catherine of Siena Medical Center in Smithtown with minor injuries.

There was no one waiting at the bus stop at the time of the crash.
