3 Sell Alcohol To Minors In Town Of Smithtown: Police
The three employees were arrested after they sold alcohol to underage people, police say.
TOWN OF SMITHTOWN, NY — Three were arrested after Suffolk police said they sold alcohol to minors in Smithtown and Nesconset on Thursday.
Suffolk police investigated the sale of alcohol to underage people at six businesses between 8 and 10 p.m. Thursday after receiving complaints from the community, police said.
The following people were charged with first-degree unlawfully dealing with a child, police said:

- A 22-year-old Holbrook employee at Lucky Lotto Beer & Smoke Shop, at 127 Smithtown Blvd.
- A 20-year-old Nesconset employee at Krypton Smoke Shop, at 260 Smithtown Blvd.
- A 37-year-old Deer Park employee at Suffolk Vape & Smoke, at 165A Terry Road.
Three other local establishments refused to sell alcohol to minors, police said.
All three clerks were issued field appearance tickets and are scheduled to be arraigned at First District Court in Central Islip on Nov. 23.
