4 Businesses Sold E-Cigarettes To Underage People: Suffolk Police
Four people were arrested during the compliance checks, police say.
TOWN OF SMITHTOWN, NY — Four businesses in or around the Town of Smithtown sold e-cigarettes to people under 21 years old during compliance checks, Suffolk police said.
Officers checked vape and smoke shops in the area after receiving complaints from the community, police said.

- Hookah City, located at 2700 Middle Country Road, Lake Grove.
- St. James Gas Inc., located at 889 Middle Country Road, St. James.
- Mr. Vape Smoke Shop, located at 114 Main St., Kings Park.
- Evolve Smoke Shop, located at 629 E. Main St., Kings Park.
The employees were issued field appearance tickets and will be arraigned on a later date.
