About the Breathe for Britt Foundation: The Breathe for Britt Foundation was founded in 2008 by Brian Kane in memory of his Goddaughter Brittany F. Braun. The mission of this foundation is to honor Brittany’s life and her fun-loving spirit by providing joy, hope, and comfort to individuals facing the daily challenge of living life with cystic fibrosis, the inherited disease that shortened Brittany’s life.

Over the past nine years, the Breathe For Britt Foundation has offered dozens of CF patients fun experiences as a break from the daily challenges of living with a chronic disease and provided support to families facing the financial strains that can be associated with caring for a child with a serious illness. From assisting with the cost of diapers for a family with a newly diagnosed infant to making a CF patient’s dream of performing in a band a reality, Breathe for Britt programs have brought joy and hope to patients all year long.
