NESCONSET, NY — Suffolk County police are asking for the public's help identifying three people accused of stealing about $30,000 worth of cosmetics from CVS stores across Suffolk County.
Police said two men and a woman stole cosmetics from the CVS at 232 Smithtown Blvd. in Nesconset on Aug. 30.
The trio is also accused of stealing cosmetics from CVS locations in Halesite on Aug. 29 and Bayport on Aug. 23, police said.
The stolen merchandise has a combined estimated value of approximately $30,000, according to police.
Investigators said the suspects have been known to use a silver vehicle with Virginia license plate SUR 1950.
Suffolk County Crime Stoppers is offering a cash reward for information leading to an arrest.
Anyone with information can submit an anonymous tip by calling 1-800-220-TIPS, using the P3 Tips mobile app or visiting P3Tips.com. Police said all calls, text messages and emails will remain confidential.
