Back To School Supply Drive In Town Of Smithtown
Notebooks and binders are just a couple of items the Town of Smithtown is requesting for its back-to-school supply drive.
SMITHTOWN, NY — The Town of Smithtown is collecting school supplies as part of a back-to-school initiative to help disadvantaged local children, the town announced.
From Wednesday through July 29, residents and businesses can drop off extra school supplies at Smithtown Town Hall and the Smithtown Highway Department buildings. School supplies will be collected and delivered to the Smithtown Children’s Foundation at the beginning of August.
For those shopping for a child or grandchild who have extra supplies they would like to give back, they may drop off those supplies in front of the Mailroom at Town Hall or at the Smithtown Department of Highways.

The following items were requested by the Smithtown Children’s Foundation:
- Composition notebooks
- Binders
- Loose leaf
- 5 subject notebooks
Backpacks are not currently needed, according to the town.
