Bomb Threat Reported At Smith Haven Mall

Police conducted a search of the mall after receiving a call of a bomb threat on Sunday afternoon.

LAKE GROVE, NY - A bomb threat was reported at the Smith Haven Mall on Sunday afternoon, according to Suffolk Police.

An unknown person called the mall, located in Lake Grove, and made a bomb threat at 3:45 p.m.

Police responded and conducted an interior and exterior sweep of the building.

No threat was discovered during the canvass. The investigation is continuing.
