Burglar Steals $2K From Lake Grove Gas Station: Police
The burglar also stole a bunch of cigarettes in addition to the cash, police say.
LAKE GROVE, NY — Suffolk County Crime Stoppers is seeking the public's help in finding a person who police said burglarized a Lake Grove business in March.
The burglar broke a glass window and entered Gulf Gas, at 2691 Middle Country Road, at 3:30 a.m. on March 5 and stole more than 20 packs of Newport cigarettes and approximately $2,000 cash, police said on Tuesday. The person is wanted for burglary.
Police ask anyone with information to reach Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and leave an anonymous tip via phone call at 1-800-220-TIPS, using a mobile app which can be downloaded through the App Store or Google Play by searching P3 Tips, or online at www.P3Tips.com. A cash reward is offered for information that leads to an arrest.
