The Joy Of Improv

This class is designed for anyone who wants to try improv, from absolute beginners to more advanced participants who want to renew the foundational skills of improv, revisit some familiar games and learn new ones. It is an opportunity to experience the creativity boost, sense of possibility and joy that arises from these experiences. We will focus on the basics, which generate creative energy, radical encouragement and support within the group, and more laughs that you can possibly predict. Instructor: Jude Treder-Wolff, who completed the Peoples Improv Theater (NYC) improvisation training program, The Magnet Theater (NYC) improvisation training program, was on the Magnet Theater house improv team AURA, is a member of the independent improv team The Blackout which performs at The Magnet Theater and Caveat in NYC and taught at Bay Street Theater in Sag Harbor, NY. She develops improv classes for anyone from absolute beginners to more advanced players, and designs and facilitates Applied Improvisation workshops and classes for professionals in mental health, health care, education, and social service organizations of all kinds. She teaches both online and in-person improv for Lifestage, for personal growth and performance.
