  1. A group of people joined forces to create a community search party to look for James Jaronczyk from Massapequa, who fell overboard from his speedboat on the Great South Bay. The Coast Guard started searching on Sunday but officially stopped Monday afternoon. Read the whole story here. (Patch)
  2. Sunday, May 21, is Art in the Park Day, supporting Mental Health Awareness Month. All ages are welcome to join and paint. All supplies will be provided at the Nissequogue River State Park from 1 to 5 p.m. (Smithtown Matters)

  4. Police announced the arrest of a 28-year-old homeless man involved in six robberies on Long Island. According to the Suffolk Police Department, Jose Nieves used a weapon to rob five gas stations and a motel. (LI News 12)
