Fundraiser at Pickleball Heaven in Medford brought together families, staff, and supporters to benefit programs serving more than 1,600.
SMITHTOWN, NY — Developmental Disabilities Institute (DDI) announced that its 4th Annual Cornhole Tournament raised more than $33,000 to support autism programs serving children and adults across Long Island.
The fundraiser, held Saturday at Pickleball Heaven in Medford, brought together families, staff members, supporters, and community partners for a day of friendly competition and philanthropy.
Participants tossed cornhole bags, connected with members of the DDI community, and helped raise vital funds that support programs empowering individuals with autism and other developmental disabilities.
