East's Samantha Delaney Scores 1,000th Career Point
Samantha has been a member of the varsity girls basketball team since 8th grade.
Congratulations to Smithtown High School East varsity girls basketball player Samantha Delaney, who recently scored her 1,000th career point.
Samantha, who has been a member of the squad since eighth grade, scored her milestone point against Bay Shore – a game she entered needing 45 points to earn the achievement. In doing so, she also accomplished a personal best single-game scoring total.
Samantha is averaging 21.7 points, 12.2 rebounds and two blocks per game this season. She will attend Saint Michael’s College in Vermont next fall.
