Eight $50K Winning Powerball Tickets Sold On Long Island; Find Out Where

Eight $50,000 winning Powerball tickets were sold on Long Island for Wednesday's drawing. One ticket sold in Massachusetts won the massive $758 million jackpot.

In Nassau County, only one winning ticket worth $50,000 was sold at 124 Plandome Road in Manhasset, the New York Lottery told Patch Thursday.

In Suffolk County, the winning tickets were sold at the following locations:

• GMS Grocery - 300 Front St. in Greenport
• Neighborhood Country Deli - 73 Whittier Dr. in Mastic Beach
• The Corner Store - 84 Echo Ave. in Miller Place
• 7-Eleven - 4490 Sunrise Highway in Oakdale
• Mr. Tobacco - 17 Singer Lane in Smithtown
• Scotty's Pub - 227 Montauk Highway in West Sayville

A total of 730,336 “winning” tickets were sold in New York for Wednesday's drawing. Three people won a $1 million prize. The million-dollar winning tickets were sold at:

• KWIK Fill at 3724 Harlem and Cleveland in Cheektowaga
• Hudson News at 625 8th Ave. in New York City
• Chunnu News on 700 3rd Ave. in New York City

A total of 32 people who bought tickets in New York won a $50,000 prize while 2,495 people won $100. The rest of the winning tickets were between $4 and $7. The winning Powerball numbers for Wednesday were: 06-07-16-23-26 and Powerball 4.
