The Suffolk County Kennel Club presents its annual AKC All-Breed Dog Show and Gala at Flowerfield Fairgrounds, Rte. 25A, St. James on Saturday, October 1, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., rain or shine. In addition to competitions in obedience, rally and conformation, there will be demonstrations of Agility, Flyball, and Noseworks, plus visits with guide-dog puppies in training, shopping at doggie boutiques, and the opportunity to get free brochures on canine activities, canine health, finding a breeder, and Responsible Dog Ownership under the AKC Public Education Tent. Only dogs entered in competitions or exhibits are permitted on show grounds. Spectators should bring their own chairs if desired.
