Art classes for Ages 16 and up.

Acquire an understanding of drawing and painting materials, methods of drawing and painting from life and the imagination, ways of looking and ways of creating that will work as tools allowing each student to create works that reflect and/or begin to uncover their individual vision. This class is for students who are true beginners of drawing and painting. Those interested in visual creation will gain greater comfort, skill and understanding of the many tools materials and methods of working in two dimensions. The classes will focus on a few techniques - brush strokes and layering (in paint) as well as line and form in drawing.
