Third Annual Slavic Night

Third Annual Slavic Celebration Night at the Kings Park Heritage Museum. All welcome. Features costumed dancers, music and special marionette performance.
Puppeteer Vit Hořejš of the Czechoslovak-American Marionette Theatre presents this wonderfully entertaining show featuring traditional, 24 inch tall marionettes that were hand crafted by 19th Century Czech puppet makers. Mr. Hořejš has delighted audiences all over the world, from Hong Kong to the Smithsonian Museum to the International Puppet Theatre organized by the Jim Henson Foundation. The Kings Park Heritage Dancers, preserving traditional Slavic dance for over 30 years, will also perform in full costume.
