
SMITHTOWN, NY - A fire broke out at a Smithtown home on Saturday evening, according to the Smithtown Fire Department.
The blaze was reported at the Harcourt Avenue home at about 5:27 p.m.
Responding firefighters found flames coming out of the roof.

The fire, which started at the back of the home, quickly traveled to the second floor and attic of the home.

The flames was under control by 6:16 p.m.

Mutual aid was provided by the Nesconset Fire Department, Kings Park Fire Department, St, James Fire Department, Commack Fire Department, Commack Ambulance, Hauppauge Fire Department and the Central Islip/Hauppauge Volunteer Ambulance.
No injuries were reported.
