Food Service Worker Struck Employee In Face At Lake Grove Gated Community: Police

The gated community employee went to the hospital after being hit, police say.

LAKE GROVE, NY — A food service worker struck an employee of a Lake Grove gated community in the face in July, Suffolk police said. Suffolk County Crime Stoppers is seeking the public's help finding him.

A food deliveryman got out of his vehicle and struck an employee in the face at Encore at Lake Grove, at 1 Encore Blvd. on July 13, police said. The community employee was treated at a nearby hospital for injuries that were not life-threatening, police said. The delivery driver is wanted for harassment.

Police ask anyone with information to reach Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and leave an anonymous tip via phone call at 1-800-220-TIPS, using a mobile app which can be downloaded through the App Store or Google Play by searching P3 Tips, or online at www.P3Tips.com. A cash reward is offered for information that leads to an arrest.
