Homeless Man Stole 21 Pairs Of Jeans In Store Robbery: Police
The 22-year-old told an employee he had a gun before fleeing, police say.

LAKE GROVE, NY - A homeless man was arrested on Friday for robbing a store in a Lake Grove mall earlier this month, according to Suffolk Police.
On April 4 at 7:15 p.m., Matthew Verderosa, 22, stole 21 pairs of jeans from Sears in the Smith Haven Mall, police said.
Verderosa left the store with the merchandise and was confronted by security, police said.

He stated he had a gun before fleeing on foot.
After an investigation, Verderosa was arrested on Friday afternoon, police said.

He was charged with first degree robbery, two counts of fourth degree grand larceny and fourth degree criminal possession of stolen property.
