A Humbled Helping Hand From Smithtown East Girls Basketball

The Smithtown High School East girls basketball team recently spent time volunteering at the Island Harvest warehouse.

The players packed weekend lunches for children who are eligible for free lunch during the school day but whose families may find it difficult to put food on the table for the weekend. According to head coach Tom Vulin (pictured here with his players packing the lunches); the team was humbled by the experience and very happy to help.
