JOSEPH M. TAVERNITE, CLF, RECEIVES PRESTIGIOUS NATIONAL AWARD
Industry Leader at New England Wealth Strategies Wins NAIFA Award for
Industry Advocacy
Kings Park,NY – Wednesday, August 7 2013 – Joseph M. Tavernite,
CLF, an Associate Managing Partner at New England Wealth Strategies,
has been recognized by Advisor Today magazine as one of four
recipients for its prestigious “Four Under Forty Award.” Published
by the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors,
Advisor Today solicits nominations for NAIFA members with successful
careers and strong commitments to family and community.

Joe’s passion for NAIFA started at a young age in 1996 when Joe
joined the Local NALU chapter and saw the value of the association and
all the great people he got to meet. In 2001 Joe got involved on the
NAIFA New York City Board where he sat on all the chairs, including
the President of New York City chapter from 2008 to 2010. Currently,
he serves as the President of NAIFA’s Greater Metro Region and as a
Trustee for New York State.
“I was part of a good agency that has a long history with NAIFA
including 4 past presidents and a number of board members ,” says
Tavernite. “I was always told to get involved and give back to the
industry that has given me so much.”
Joe started his career at MONY as a Financial Services Representative
in 1996. During his four years at MONY, Joe was a Rep and Sales
manager. In this position he was a consistent MDRT producer and a Top
Club qualifier. Additionally, Joe spent 12 years with Penn Mutual as
both a Sales Manager and Managing Director where he won numerous
company and industry awards.
Mr. Tavernite is a current GAMA Master Agency Award winner for New
England Wealth Strategies, a New England Financial affiliate office.
Joe holds Series 7, 63, and 24 securities registrations and various
state insurance licenses. Joe also holds a CLF designation from the
American college and is a current member of GAMA and The New York
Round Table.
