Missing Lake Grove Teenager Found OK: Police
Gladis Portillo, 14, who was last seen leaving her home on Saturday, was found unharmed, police say.

LAKE GROVE, NY — A Lake Grove girl was reported missing on Monday morning, Suffolk police said.

Gladis Portillo, 14, was last seen leaving her 99 Hallock Road home around 1 p.m. Saturday, police said. Police said detectives believe she got into a blue sedan with a male acquaintance in his early to mid-20s. She was reported missing by a family member at 2:40 a.m. Monday, police said.
Police described Portillo as Hispanic with a light complexion, 5 feet 8 inches tall and 110 pounds. Portillo has black hair and black eyes. She may be traveling to Maryland with the man in the blue sedan, police said.

Detectives asked anyone with information on Portillo’s location to contact Fourth Squad detectives at 631-854-8452 or 911.
