Late-Night Beer Theft At Smithtown Walgreens, Man Wanted: Police

Crime Stoppers is offering a cash reward for information that leads to an arrest, police say.

SMITHTOWN, NY — Suffolk County police are asking for the public’s help in identifying a man who stole merchandise from a Smithtown store, police said.

According to Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and Fourth Precinct Crime Section officers, the man stole beer from Walgreens, located at 10 W. Main St., on November 12 at approximately 11 p.m.

Police now released surveillance footage of the suspect.

Crime Stoppers is offering a cash reward for information that leads to an arrest, police said.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Suffolk County Crime Stoppers to submit an anonymous tip by calling 1-800-220-TIPS. Tips can also be submitted using the P3 Tips mobile app or online at P3Tips.com.
