LI Chef To Compete In Regional 'Top Chef' Competition
The local chef will be serving his signature dish at the local event which will take place next week.

LONG ISLAND, NY - Next week, nine chefs will battle to be the region's "Top Chef." One of those chefs will be Long Island resident Billy Oakley.
Oakley, a team member at the Bahama Breeze in Lake Grove, is one of nine culinary professionals from nine Bahama Breeze restaurant locations in the northeast.
He will battle it out for the coveted title of “Top Chef” and a $1,000 cash prize.

Oakley has been with the restaurant for more than five years. For the competition, he will prepare his signature dish.
During the event, which will take place in the Bahama Breeze on 320 Goddard Boulevard in King of Prussia on Tuesday, April 2, guests will sample and score the dishes.

The winner will be chosen by a panel of local judges – including special guest Bahama Breeze executive chef Peter Olsacher.
Ticket price for the competition is $75 which includes access to an open bar and sampling of nine dishes. A portion of each ticket sold will be donated to the Make A Wish Foundation.
