Man Assaults Another Man At Smithtown Bar: Police

The man is accused of hurling a glass bottle at the other man's face, police say.

SMITHTOWN, NY — Suffolk County Crime Stoppers is seeking the public's help in finding the man who police said assaulted another man at a Smithtown bar in November.

A man at Illusions Bar and Lounge, at 281 W. Main St., was involved in a fight with another man around 4 a.m. Nov. 20, police said. The man, who he did not know, threw a glass bottle at his face, police said. The man brought himself to a nearby hospital to be treated for injuries that are not life-threatening, police said. The man who threw the bottle is wanted for assault, police said.
