Man Committed Lewd Act In Lake Grove Fitting Room: Police
A man was in the Old Navy fitting room for an extended period of time, causing a female employee to go check on him, police say.
LAKE GROVE, NY — Suffolk County Crime Stoppers is seeking the public's help finding the man who, police said, committed a lewd act in Lake Grove in September.
A man entered a fitting room at Old Navy, at 2089 Smith Haven Mall, on Sept. 4 and stayed in the room for an extended period of time, leaving the door slightly ajar, police said. A female employee went to check on the man as he was committing a lewd act, police said. He is wanted for public lewdness.
Police ask anyone with information to reach Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and leave an anonymous tip via phone call at 1-800-220-TIPS, using a mobile app which can be downloaded through the App Store or Google Play by searching P3 Tips, or online at www.P3Tips.com. A cash reward is offered for information that leads to an arrest.
