Man Critically Injured In Suffolk Fall
The man was painting a house when he slipped off a stone retaining wall and fell 20 feet to the ground, police say.
NISSEQUOGUE, NY — A man was critically injured when he fell off a stone retaining wall in Nissequogue on Monday afternoon, Suffolk police said.
Rosin Santos, 54, of Commack, was painting a home on Spring Hollow Road when he slipped off a stone retaining wall and fell 20 feet to the ground at 12:37 p.m., police said. Santos is in critical condition at a hospital.
The Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) was notified and is investigating. Anyone with information was asked to contact Fourth Squad detectives at 631-854-8452.
