Man With Gun Tried To Rob Lake Grove Gas Station: Police

LAKE GROVE, NY — A man tried to rob a gas station in Lake Grove in January, police said, and Suffolk County Crime Stoppers is seeking the public's help finding him.

A man entered Gulf, at 2691 Middle County Road, at 3:20 p.m. Jan. 10, displayed a handgun and demanded cash, police said. The clerk did not comply, and the man ran away without proceeds, police said. He is wanted for robbery.
