Man Robs Suffolk County Bank

LAKE GROVE, NY - Suffolk Police are searching for a man who robbed a bank in Lake Grove on Friday night.

According to police, a man entered the TD Bank, located at 2822 Middle Country Road, at about 7:35 p.m., approached a teller and displayed a note demanding cash. The teller complied and the robber fled on foot westbound on Middle Country Road.

The robber, who had the lower half of his face covered with what appeared to be a surgical mask, was described as a white male, approximately 5-foot-10 to 6-feet tall, with a medium build. He was wearing a red-hooded sweatshirt covered by a green shirt and brown pants.

The investigation is continuing and detectives are asking anyone with information about the robbery to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS.
