Man Robs Woman Making A Bank Drop Deposit: SCPD

LAKE GROVE, NY — Suffolk County Crime Stoppers is seeking the public's help in finding the man who robbed a woman in Lake Grove this month.

A man walked up to a woman who was making a bank drop deposit at Bank of America, located at
3080 Middle Country Road, on Sept. 2 at 10:26 p.m., police said. He then demanded money and pushed her, police said. He ran off with the cash, police said.

He was described as white, around 6 feet tall, with a stocky build. He was wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans, and brown boots, and he had grease or dirt on his hands.

Police ask anyone with information about the robbery to reach Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and leave an anonymous tip via phone call at 1-800-220-TIPS, texting "SCPD" and your message to "CRIMES" (274637) or by email at www.tipsubmit.com. A cash reward of up to $5,000 is offered for information that leads to an arrest.
