Man Snapped Photos Of Gym Staff, Children, In Smithtown: PD
The man is wanted after he took photos without permission and drove off, police say.

SMITHTOWN, NY — Suffolk County Crime Stoppers is seeking the public's help in finding the man who police said endangered the welfare of a child at a fitness facility in Smithtown in April.
A man entered Gold Medal Gymnastics Center, at 253 West Main Street, between 12:40 and 1 p.m. April 29 and took photos of staff and children without permission or consent, police said. The man drove off in a four-door sedan, possibly a Hyundai, with unknown registration, police said. He is wanted for endangering the welfare of a child, police said.
Police ask anyone with information to reach Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and leave an anonymous tip via phone call at 1-800-220-TIPS, using a mobile app which can be downloaded through the App Store or Google Play by searching P3 Tips, or online at www.P3Tips.com. A cash reward is offered for information that leads to an arrest.
