Man Steals $1,700 Worth Of Golf Clubs From Lake Grove Store: Police
Three clubs were stolen from a Dick's Sporting Goods, police say.
LAKE GROVE, NY — Suffolk County Crime Stoppers is seeking the public's help in finding the man who police said stole three golf clubs from a Lake Grove store in April. Police announced the theft on Thursday.
A man stole three TaylorMade golf clubs from Dick’s Sporting Goods, at the Smith Haven Mall, around 10:40 a.m. on April 6, police said. The clubs have a combined value of approximately $1,700, police said. The man is wanted for grand larceny.
Police ask anyone with information to reach Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and leave an anonymous tip via phone call at 1-800-220-TIPS, using a mobile app which can be downloaded through the App Store or Google Play by searching P3 Tips, or online at www.P3Tips.com. A cash reward is offered for information that leads to an arrest.
