Man Hurled Rocks At 2 Buses' Windshields: SCPD
Both buses were damaged, and in one instance, the rock broke a glass partition inside the vehicle, police say.
VILLAGE OF THE BRANCH, NY — A man who threw rocks at the windshields of two buses last week in Nesconset and Village of the Branch was arrested on Sunday, Suffolk police said.
A Regency Transportation bus was parked on Southern Boulevard in Nesconset with the driver behind the wheel on April 16 when a rock struck and cracked the windshield at 8:30 a.m., police said.
A Suffolk County Transportation bus was heading northbound on Route 111 in Village of the
Branch when a rock crashed through the windshield and broke a glass partition inside the cab at 9:24 a.m., police said.

Edward Wisneski, 19, of Hauppauge, was arrested at his home. He was charged with one count of first-degree reckless endangerment, one count of second-degree reckless endangerment, and two counts of second-degree criminal mischief.
He was held overnight at the Fourth Precinct and is scheduled to be arraigned at First District Court in Central Islip on Monday.
