Smithtown's Mills Pond Kids Raise $900 For American Heart Association
The students participated in Hoops for Hearts, playing a three-point challenge, relay races and basketball games.
ST. JAMES, NY — Fourth and fifth graders at Mills Pond Elementary had a nice workout for a cause when they participated in Hoops for Hearts, raising more than $900 for the American Heart Association, the Smithtown School District announced.
The students gathered together on Thursday to compete in a three-point challenge, relay races and basketball games.
