Musician Jared Campbell Visits Mt. Pleasant Elementary In Smithtown

SMITHTOWN, NY — Jared Campbell, a nationally renowned singer, visited Mt. Pleasant Elementary School in Smithtown, where he wowed students and teachers with his message and performance on Tuesday.

"You’ve got to have a spirit inside that never gives up," he said, according to the school district.

Campbell’s performance, courtesy of the school PTA and arts and education program, was aimed at teaching students about creating a positive culture through music. He performed an interactive musical performance, giving students an opportunity to sing and dance while learning valuable lessons about the value of self-reflection, overcoming obstacles and having a positive outlook on life.
