NESCONSET, NY - A fire destroyed a Nesconset home early Wednesday morning.
Suffolk Police received the call at 3:43 a.m. for a fire at a Heritage Place home.
No injuries were reported. It is unknown how many people were inside the home at the time of the fire.

Police say that the fire is under investigation but is believed to be non-criminal in nature.
The Nesconset, Smithtown, Kings Park, Hauppauge, Centereach, Ronkonkoma, Stony Brook, St. James, Lakeland and Nissequogue fire departments all responded to help battle the blaze.
