Through thousands of submissions to the final round of competition on April 1, 2017, 21 yr old Saint James resident, indie singer/songwriter/actress PARIS RAY was crowned the Grand Prize Winner of the 5th Annual Gold Coast "Your Big Break" 2017 talent competition at the Gold Coast Arts Center in Great Neck which searches for the next big music star. She won over the judges with her original songs, "Astronomy" with its amazing lyrics and "Get Well Soon", a very personal song that gets to the heart of domestic violence & her rendition of the George Michael song "Praying for Time" selected by the judges for her to perform. As a result of winning Paris Ray will be awarded an opening spot for a national act at The Paramount in Huntington, recording time with Betamax Artist Development, a feature on Reverbnation.com, a gift certificate from All Music Inc. and ZOOM America and a PR and social media campaign including management, booking and label services consultation with the Rick Eberle Agency.
