Pizzeria Owner Robbed While Opening St. James Restaurant: Police

Two men robbed the owner while he was opening his business earlier this week.

ST. JAMES, NY - Two men robbed a pizzeria owner as he was opening his St. James restaurant on Sunday morning, according to Suffolk Police.

The robbery was reported at 9:45 a.m. at Lorenzo's Pizza on 600 Middle Country Road.

As the owner was opening, two men entered the business, displayed a handgun and demanded cash.

The owner complied and the men fled on foot.

No injuries were reported. No description of the robbers was available.
