Want to know what's happening in your neighborhood? Check out the following crimes reported in Smithtown over the past week as reported by Suffolk Police:
- July 30: An unknown person broke the outside window pan of a home on Valley Avenue.
- July 31: Graffiti was discovered on someone's jacket at the Smithtown Central School District Administration Building on 26 New York Avenue.
- August 2: An unknown person purchased items at Macy's in the Smith Haven Mall using a stolen credit card.
- August 3: Someone broke into the M C Smithtown Cleaners on 385 Veterans Memorial Highway through the vent. The burglar checked the register but there was no money. There were no proceeds.
- August 6: Shaquanna House, 28, of Westbury was arrested for striking another woman with a glass bottle and then slashing her with the broken bottle at Oasis Gentlemen's Club on 490 W. Jericho Turnpike. The victim received stitches.
