Police: Man With Pellet Gun Robs Woman at Suffolk County Gas Station
The incident occurred Thanksgiving night. The victim was pumping gas at the time, police say.
A Centereach man was arrested soon after he robbed a woman who was pumping gas at a North Amityville gas station on Thursday night, police said.
According to police, 24-year-old Billy McMahon displayed a pellet gun and robbed a woman of cash at the Citgo station located at 655 Broadway around 8:50 p.m. The woman was not injured.
McMahon fled the scene on foot but was located a short distance away by responding First Precinct patrol officers, police said.

McMahon is charged with first degree robbery. He was scheduled to be arraigned at First District Court in Central Islip Friday.
