Police Seeking Central Islip Bank Robber
Police say Bank of America on Wheeler Road was robbed in January.

Police are seeking the public’s help to identify and locate the man pictured above who they say robbed a Central Islip bank in January.
Police say the man entered Bank of America, located at 185 Wheeler Road, on Jan. 24 at about 1:45 p.m., approached two tellers and demanded money. The man fled without proceeds and was last seen running southbound on Wheeler Road, police said.
The suspect is described as Hispanic, about 5-foot-9 to 5-foot-11, in his mid-30s with a medium build, police said.

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers offers a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest. Anyone with information about this crime is asked to call anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS.
