Porch Pirate Steals Roses In Smithtown: Police

The man swiped roses that had been delivered to a home, police say.

SMITHTOWN, NY — Suffolk County Crime Stoppers is seeking the public's help finding the man who, police said, stole flowers from a Smithtown residence in October.

A man stole roses that had been delivered to a Smithtown residence on New York Avenue on Oct. 8 at 2:05 p.m., police said. He is wanted for petty larceny.

Police ask anyone with information to reach Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and leave an anonymous tip via phone call at 1-800-220-TIPS, using a mobile app which can be downloaded through the App Store or Google Play by searching P3 Tips, or online at www.P3Tips.com. A cash reward is offered for information that leads to an arrest.
