Smith Haven Mall To Host 'Descendants 3' Event
The event will take place next week following the death of 20-year-old Cameron Boyce who starred as Carlos in the film.
LAKE GROVE, NY - The Smith Haven Mall will be hosting a 'Descendants 3' event this weekend following the recent death of one of the movie's main characters.
The event, which will take place prior to the premiere of the movie next month, will be held on Saturday from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.
During the event, children will be able to participate in several activities including a craft project to create their own personalized back-to-school pencil cases, along with a custom photo booth and other exciting games.

The event will not include live character appearances.
'Descendants 3' will premiere on Friday, August 2 at 8 p.m. on Disney Channel.

Actor Cameron Boyce, who played Carlos in the film, died last weekend in his sleep due to a seizure that came amid an "ongoing medical condition."
Boyce's Carlos character also appears in the "Descendants" TV series as well as in the franchise's 2017 and 2019 sequels.
