Fifth graders from the Smithtown Christian School joined living historians Nick Casseus of Amityville and Bob Inslee of Massapequa Park for a tour of The Museum of American Armor which features a collection of more than 35 operational armored vehicles from WW II that are presented for the purpose of honoring our armed forces and the nation’s largest veteran population while offering an immersion experience for visitors who discover the heroes within their own families The Museum of American Armor, located at 1303 Round Swamp Road, Old Bethpage, is inside the grounds of Old Bethpage Village Restoration and is open year round, Wednesday through Sunday, from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
