Smithtown High School VE Enterprise Earns High Ranking
East students worked on cutting-edge smart collars and harnesses. West students curate care packages for those suffering from depression.
SMITHTOWN, NY — Virtual Enterprise firms from both Smithtown High School East and Smithtown High School West were recently honored with a top-seven ranking on Long Island by VE International, the school district announced.
DogGo, from High School East, was ranked in the top-seven for their employee handbook. DogGo is committed to redefining the pet care experience with cutting-edge smart collars and harnesses that prioritize safety, health and joy. The Employee Handbook is a way to set these expectations and is a reflection of the company's mission, policies, and procedures for employees and management.
SpiritBoost, from Smithtown High School West, received the honor of being ranked in the top-seven for their marketing plan. SpiritBoost is a mental health support company that provides
curated care packages to those suffering from anxiety, depression and other mental health
conditions. CEO Rebecca Gelman will present the marketing plan at the National Marketing Competition on April 11, at the Javits Center in New York City.
