Smithtown Homecoming Parades, Games Coming Up

The Smithtown Central School District will celebrate Homecoming 2014 on consecutive weekends in October, with Smithtown High Schools West and East inviting the community to enjoy two fantastic parades.

On Saturday, Oct. 11, Smithtown High School West will celebrate homecoming, beginning at 2:30 p.m. with a parade beginning near Asbury Drive and proceeding north on Plymouth Boulevard to the HSW campus. The HSW varsity Bulls football team will host West Islip. Kickoff is 4 p.m. Earlier in the day, the two schools’ junior varsity football squads will square off at West Islip, beginning at 9 a.m.

On Saturday, Oct. 18, Smithtown High School East will celebrate homecoming with a parade beginning at 12:30 p.m. at St. James Elementary School, proceeding down Lake Avenue to Woodlawn Avenue and ending on the HSE campus. The HSE varsity Bulls will also defend their home field against West Islip, with kickoff scheduled for 2 p.m. On Friday, October 17, the HSE junior varsity football team will travel to West Islip to play their squad, beginning at 3:30 p.m.

All Smithtown residents and school community members are invited to attend.
